Manicure

This treatment is designed for finger nails. The nails are shaped and then the hands soaked to soften the cuticles. The cuticles are then pushed back, trimmed as necessary. The nails are buffed and then a base coat of polish is applied. The nails will then be painted the colour of choice by the client and a top coat to seal them. Cuticle oil is applied to finish the treatment.

Gel Manicure

This treatment is perfect for those clients looking long lasting results. In addition to the regular manicure this treatment applies UV gel to the nails instead of polish and then set under a UV lamp. A top coat seals the gel and gives a high shine finish.

Pedicure

A great treatment for tired feet. The nails are shaped and the feet are then soaked in warm water. The cuticles are pushed back and trimmed as necessary. Using a foot file any hard areas are soon removed and a foot scrub will be massaged in to ensure soft and smooth skin. The feet will be moisturised and the nails painted with a base coat. The client can choose a nail polish and the nails will then be sealed with a top coat.

Gel Pedicure

This is the answer for feet trapped in shoes or for those holidays when feet spend a lot of time in water. The gel pedicure minimizes chips and is long lasting. The treatment is as that of the pedicure but instead of nail polish UV gel is applied to the nails. This is then sealed with a top coat which provides a super shiny finish.

Paraffin Wax for the Hands and Feet

This treatment leaves hands and feet smooth and rehydrated. The hands/feet are cleansed and moisturised before the warm paraffin wax is brushed on. The hands/feet are then wrapped in bags and then mittens to retain the heat. The client is then encouraged to relax for 20 minutes to allow the oils from the wax to penetrate into the skin. The wax is then removed and the treatment is finished with an intensive moisturizing lotion and hand/foot massage.

Tips with Acrylic or Gel Overlays

For those with short nails looking for a strong nail extension this is a great solution. The nails will be shaped if necessary to ensure a good fit within the nail tip. The cuticles will be pushed back and the nails primed for the extensions to be added. The nails tips can be natural or white (to give a French tip finish) and will be glued to the top of the natural nail. The tip will be cut to the required size and shaped and then if they are natural colored will be blended into the natural nail. A layer of acrylic or gel will then be applied to cover the natural nail and the tip. (n.b the gel will be set under a UV lamp). Once dry the acrylic or gel will be buffed and a layer of base coat applied. The nails will then be painted to the clients requirements and a top coat will seal the polish. An application of cuticle oil will finish the treatment.

Sculptured Gel or Acrylic Extensions

These extensions are ideal if you are looking to strengthen your own nails. The nail is created using a reinforced paper form to support the extension whilst it dries. The nail is prepared as with tips and then the paper form is placed under the natural nail. The nail extension is then built on top of both the natural nail and the form (n.b the gel is set under the UV lamp and the acrylic will air dry). Once dry the form is removed and the extension is shaped. The extension is then polished with base coat, nail polish and finished with top coat. An application of cuticle oil finishes the treatment.

Infills

As the natural nail growths under the extension a small gap will become clear at the base of the nail (after approximately 3 weeks dependent on the rate of growth). The base of the extension is the filed away and new acrylic or gel is filled into the gap. The nail is then buffed and polished as before.

Nail Art

Once the nails are polished either with nail polish or gel there is an opportunity to personalize them. There are many options whether you are interested in patterns, pictures, flowers or jewels all are possible.
